First impressions | Revlon Beauty Box #2

So I’m back with another amazing box of goodies from Revlon that I’ve given the great opportunity to try out and I’m so excited to share my views with you!

First up is the new Mega Multiplier Mascara (try saying that 10 times and really fast!) I love the new mascara packaging from Revlon and I feel like they’ve really stepped up their game in the past few years especially with their packaging and even their product quality has even improved too! (Which is surprising considering they’ve always been a great quality brand anyway).  This particular mascara definitely sits on the scale with the higher end brands of mascara rather than high street which is crazy considering this is close to 3 times less money than the average high end mascara. The formula is nice and thick without being at all clumpy so you can get away with only one application and still get those perfect long, thick, false lash look lashes!

Next, I tried the Revlon Colorstay Crème eyeshadow in the shades 710 and 755, I LOVE how low maintenance these are you can apply them straight to your eyelid with no primer (or as a base) and they will literally last all day, without budging or creasing. I do find them a little awkward to apply with the built in brush but if I use my fingers then it applies to much better and goes on so much more evenly.

Also in the box was the Revlon Colorstay 2 in 1 angled Kajal liner in the shade Onyx. Oh, my, word! I love this liner soo much, honestly my new holy grail liner. The colour is so pigmented and so black it’s unbelievable, I hate liners that are off black but this is the blackest black liner I have ever seen. It doesn’t wear off your waterline very easily either so you can have that fresh liner look all day! The brush end gives you the perfect smoky eye look that you can only dream of!

Lastly, but certainly not least is the Revlon Colorstay brow pencil in dark brown, the shade itself is a little darker than expected, it certainly seems more borderline brown/black than most other dark brown brow colours, if you use the pencil lightly then it matches my brows perfectly though so it just means I have to be a little less heavy handed so all is not lost. When I repurchase this I shall be getting a slightly lighter shade I think though! The formula is super creamy and really pigmented as with all Revlon products.

Overall, another win for Revlon! I think my favourite product from this box  has got to be the mascara! A total lifeline if like me you have short sparse lashes!
