So I’m back with another amazing box of goodies from Revlon that I’ve given the great opportunity to try out and I’m so excited to share my views with you!
Finding the best brow products on the market can be a struggle at times, more often than not I end up liking something for a few weeks then moving on to something else after a while. The Beautiful Brows Brow kit has been a sturdy favourite for quite a while now so I thought I’d share my thoughts with you!
I first tried New CID when I bought a Glamour magazine subscription a few years back and the New CID i-prime was a free gift for signing up. Instantly I loved it and I’m now on my 3rd or 4th because I still use it to this day! I’ve now had an amazing chance to try out a selection of their other products and share them with you all.
Bbrow Bar products have been on my ‘to try’ list for such a long time now so I am super excited to be reviewing them for you today! Price wise, their products fall under the ‘middle’ range of the spectrum with products starting at around £12.
Firstly, the Brow Tamer, £12. I have lost count of the amount of these type of brushes that I’ve gotten through since I started playing around with filling my brows in, but this is so much more durable! I can tell already that it’s going to last me a VERY long time. I love this packaging and the concept of the product, it’s made of a satin black and rose gold metal that just screams sophistication. When the lid is on it just looks like a normal pen so it’s perfect for taking with you wherever you go, the lid protects the brush from getting damaged or broken if it’s in your bag all day (this is the number one reason that I’ve got through so many of these types of brush!)
Next, the Indian Chocolate brow gel, £17. This works like a mascara and hairspray for your brows, the wand allows you to perfectly groom and shape your brow by distributing the product evenly throughout the hairs locking them into place all day! Because the product is also tinted it makes your brows look thicker and fuller with no fuss. Unfortunately for me, my brows are just a little too sparse to use it alone but using it over pre-filled brows is just as satisfying and finishes them off perfectly.
Also sent to me is the brow definer in Indian Chocolate, £15. This is amazing for filling in all the tiny details of your brows. Where the pencil is super skinny it really allows you to add that fine, close up detail that is just so hard to achieve with a wider pencil, you can almost draw each individual hair and create the most natural of looks. This is easily my new Holy Grail brow pencil.
Next, the Cinnamon Spice brow build, £19. This product is also actually amazing! The formula is like a gel with tiny fibers inside which help to build up your brows and make them look fuller and thicker, my brows are naturally pretty thin and uneven so this is literally a lifesaver, if I’m in a rush and don’t have much time to spend on perfecting my brows then a few quick swipes of this and boom! Fuller, more even looking brows in an instant and they don’t wear off and smudge throughout the day. Another Holy Grail product here!
Lastly, the Cinnamon Spice brow sculpt, now unfortunately the colour is a little off for my brows but the product itself is really great. It reminds me of the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pomade, this however doesn’t rub off or smudge as easily so I much prefer this, it can be a little tough to rub off at the end of the day but that’s nothing a little coconut oil or oil based makeup remover can’t fix!
Overall, a great range of products from BbrowBar and I can happily say that I can highly recommend them all!
Fab Brows has been my Holy Grail since the first time I used their single brow powder. The eyebrow stencils really do give you the the perfect shape each time without trying and the waterproof, smudge proof and sweat proof powder means that that just one application can keep those brows ‘on fleek’ all day with no worrying.
